Sali Mustafic – Life Coach and Master Practitioner of NLP offers New Life Perspectives – change work

Calm, confidence, freedom . . . what do you want? If you woke up in the morning and a personal miracle had happened while you were sleeping, what would have changed and how would you know? What differences would it make in your life?

Once you know what you want, NLP can help you get it!

I work with people who are ready to make changes in their lives. If relationships, work or events in your life leave you wanting more control over your own destiny I can help you find out what NLP can offer.

I am a fully qualified and insured Master Practitioner member of the Association for NLP and a graduate member of the International NLP Trainers Association. I am also a life coach and have over 20 years teaching experience.

Join me on the 13 November and experience an NLP approach to confidence building. I am also delighted to offer a voucher for a free NLP appointment in the raffle.

A New Life Perspective is available at ‘Flo & Us’ in Sidmouth. For further information visit www.NLPDevon.co.uk or call me on 01404 45848

Sara Peat - The Pain Management Clinic

Do you or someone you know suffer persistent aches and pains? No longer able to do the things you want to without suffering the next day? Why not come to my pain management workshop and learn why we get chronic pain and how to start to deal with it

I am a Specialist Physiotherapist with 15 years experience in the field of pain management and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Before moving to Teignmouth last year I was head of the NHS Physiotherapy pain service in Swindon involved in setting up, and running pain and fatigue management programmes, as well as one to one therapy with patients whose chronic pain and fatigue had not been helped by normal forms of therapy.

Moving to Devon after my husband had been made redundant was a fantastic opportunity and feeling rather disappointed with how patients are currently treated in the NHS, I started my private Pain Management Service where I can take the time needed to treat my patients successfully rather than rushing them through due to waiting list pressures.

By using therapies such as Acupuncture, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, sleep management TENS advice and lifestyle techniques I help identify pain triggers and help to find solutions to enable my patients to increase their activity without increasing their pain, getting them back to activities they might have stopped or reduced and enable them to be able to plan again.

This treatment is highly specialised and tends not to be provided by general physiotherapists as chronic pain is not well understood in the healthcare profession, often you are just told to get on with it but not shown how.

Treatment is provided in your own home and tailored to your individual needs. If you would like to find out more about my service and how I can help you increase your activity please contact me on 01626 776751 or via email speat@hotmail.co.uk

Don’t let the pain beat you, take control of your life once again!

I look forward to seeing you at my workshop on the Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day...

Being Kind to Yourself with Judith Davey, Pearls and Wisdom

The theme of this workshop is to remind ourselves that although it's important for women to remain strong both for themselves and others, it's also important to be kind to yourself. The workshop will encourage participants to share stories and experiences. Each participant will receive a small gift as a memento of the day.

Wardrobe Revamp with Nathalie Andrews

As a dressmaker and designer with over 20 years of experience I have found an innovative way of being able to "re-design" and "fine-tune" clothes to any woman's body shape. I myself am curvy and have found that too many shop-bought clothes (including the expensive ones!) just don't fit properly. Many women tell me the same thing, so I offer a free wardrobe makeover service (a mix of Gok Wan, Trinny and Susanah, but without the nasty mirrors). This focuses on the dormant items in your wardrobe which may have been worn once to a special occasion or possibly not at all.

So for my workshop, bring in a garment you want to do something with – it can be too small, large, short or long, vintage or out-dated (think of those lovely 80's shoulder pads).

I will have a look at the pieces prior to the workshop so that I can be prepared with some ideas and options and we’ll spend some time working with each of the items and I will make suggestions for remodelling your item. If you have some sewing ability you will be able to go home with some ideas, but for those who prefer, I can offer you some help to remodel your piece (don’t worry, my rates are very reasonable!)

Sarah Gibbs - I.H.B.C., Skincare Therapist, Beauty with Vues - Do your own facial

I grew up in Surrey and qualified as a Beauty Therapist in 1983. Like most therapists I polished off the rough edges working in a local salon. My next position was a teacher and examiner at the International Health & Beauty Council. This involved teaching and examining at different colleges around the UK.

I was married in 1985 and 2 years later moved to Devon where my two sons Ben and Thomas were born. I taught students at Exeter College for a year before a complete change of career which saw me join Lloyds Bank.

Although I enjoyed my time with the bank it did not give me the job satisfaction that I craved so in 1997 I opened the Skin Care Centre in Sidmouth. I moved to Newton Poppleford in January 2007 and built a salon in the garden ‘ Beauty With Vues’. I specialise in skin care treatment using Dermalogica products. I love to transform ladies who have real concerns regarding their skin whether it be adult acne, pigmentation, skin aging or sensitivity.

On 13 November I will take you through a step-by-step process for looking after your skin – a DIY facial. Numbers for this workshop will be limited to 6 only, so if you want to learn to do your own professional facial, book early!

Jewellery Making with Yvonne Temple

I love creating, making new things, trying out new ideas and inspiring others. Studying Fashion and Textiles in Bath was an amazing opportunity to discover new skills and hone others. Designing and creating jewellery and textile products is an absolute passion of mine. I take my inspiration from nature – the sea, countryside and gardens. The colours, textures and shapes are direct influences in my designing. Being around people, encouraging, inspiring and teaching is also a big part of me. I believe that we all have some creativity in us, we just don't always have the opportunity or confidence to find it!

Come and make some jewellery with me on 13 November. You'll love it, I promise!

Christmas Floral Decoration with Lauren Curry

Lauren is 21 years old and recognised as one of the best young UK florists within the industry through her involvement in competitions, notably in this year’s Chelsea Flower Show where she was a silver medallist! Trained in contemporary European and traditional English design, Lauren is currently setting up her own business call The Travelling Florist. To learn more about Lauren and see some of her fabulous floral designs, take a look at www.thetravellingflorist.co.uk.

Lauren will be delivering a workshop that will have a Christmas theme and will be about flowers as decoration in the home. She will teach/show the participants how to make their own contemporary Christmas table centres. Along with the workshop, Lauren will be demonstrating Christmas decoration ideas and be selling some of her floral designs in the Demonstration Room. There will be a charge for the cost of the materials used in the workshop and we will let you know closer to the time what this will be.

Moving Nature with Pauline and Michelle

We are two artists who find inspiration in free dance movement and in nature. We create simple artworks at different sites with whatever nature provides. Because these artworks are ephemeral we record our explorations as digital photographs. These are then printed onto a variety of materials including handmade papers and made into beautiful textured canvases. The workshop on offer shows what we do and what we make while out on site.

This is followed by an opportunity for participants to make their own ephemeral artworks from our store of found natural materials. All that is needed will be provided on the day.
